Abstract
Stump appendicitis is a rare late complication of appendectomy. Most cases present
months to years following surgery for acute appendicitis. Cases of stump appendicitis
after incidental appendectomy are very rare. We present a case of stump appendicitis
after incidental appendectomy during a procedure for duodenal obstruction as an infant.
