The 64th Annual meeting of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Surgery was
held in New Orleans, Louisiana, October 19–21. This meeting marked the first return
of the AAP to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and the hospitality shown by the
Crescent City was outstanding. This meeting featured excellent presentations, invited
speakers, and keynote addresses that will inspire continued participation in this
annual event and solidify the important role that the AAP has for its surgical colleagues.
